About this ministry: This ministry is responsible for catechizing and facilitating the spiritual growth of those who are seeking to unite themselves with the Catholic Church through Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. Volunteers provide on-going support for candidates as they go through the process of becoming Catholic.
What training is necessary? Those who would like to become a part of this ministry will be coached about the process and given materials which will help to explain the background and doctrines of our faith.
To whom is this ministry open? Anyone who is interested in sharing faith with others is invited to join this ministry. Those who are seeking to be fully initiated into the Catholic Church through Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation, or through a profession of faith, are invited to join us.
What expertise is needed? Volunteers need to have a basic understanding of their Catholic faith, but even this is part of on-going formation from which any adult can benefit.
What kind of a commitment is required? Please check with the Director of Religious Education for the schedule.
