About this ministry: Children's Liturgists celebrate the Liturgy of the Word with children 3 to 6 years old in a way that makes it more understandable to them and more meaningful to their lives. This ministry is currently available at the 10:00am Sunday Masses.
What training is necessary? In a 2-hour training session, children's liturgists can learn the procedures and philosophy behind the activities which take place during Children's Liturgy of the Word.
To whom is this ministry open? Adults and teens may be trained as children's liturgists.
What expertise is needed? An understanding of Scriptures and willingness to increase your knowledge through materials provided is all that is necessary.
What kind of a commitment is required? A schedule is prepared and liturgists serve during the 10:00 Mass about once a month.
