About this ministry: The Altar and Rosary organization has three main goals: (1) to maintain the sanctuary; (2) to provide spiritual and social benefits for women of the parish; and (3) to cooperate with and support the pastor in the needs of the church as approved by our membership. We would like to increase our membership through church and school interaction. Parishioners are also invited to bring and/or serve food to the families who are having funerals at our parish. This ministry is called “Hearts and Hands.”
To whom is this ministry open? This organization is open to all adult women.
What expertise is needed? We are looking for people who are skilled in purchasing, caring for and arranging flowers for the altar. Our events provide opportunities for parish and school participation. There is no training required for Hearts and Hands.
What kind of a commitment is required? Meetings are on the second Fridays of September, November, January, March, and May. We meet for the rosary and Mass at 11:30 am, followed by a luncheon and meeting. You will be called when there is a need for Hearts and Hands. You may offer to bring something to Campbell Hall, to serve, or to decline at any time.
